A cocky entrepreneur loses everything and moves into a tent by the river in Portland, OR. There, he's confronted by a whimsical tarot reader who initiates him onto an existential quest to find his true desires and voice.
Shot by Maria Allred with a little DSLR and a 1-2 man crew (including herself) over a course of a few days during 2020 lockdowns. She utilized process-oriented filmmaking, which allows the filmmaking process to shape reality around the making, and then reality in turn shapes the film, blurring the lines between fact and fiction.
